Tea stamps

open book with printed and handwritten information about a tea and a small wood matrix that has been used to add a red mug-shaped stamp to the page

These three carved bits of wood are stamps for my tea directory book. I’ll use the two on the left for most pages. Which I use on a page will depend on whether I use a gaiwan or tea strainer for that particular tea.

It’s been rather a long time since I last carved anything. I suspect that a couple of these tools need sharpening rather than mere honing.

[Edit: I see that the open spread doesn’t specify the country of origin. Thank goodness this is a book to be written in and amended.]
